This cradle telephone has a square wooden box with solid brass fittings in a black gunmetal antique finish and a black bakelite handset. The phone has beautiful old bells behind which ring & work on any landline worldwide.

Cradle telephones were produced around the 1930s. They were a classic style of telephone and very popular during that period. These telephones are convenient to use and fit in exceptionally well with the all types of home decor. The base of the cradle telephone is 20 x 19 cm in and 20 cm in height. The handset is 23 cm long and the instrument weighs approximately 4kg when packed.

All our antique telephones are fully stripped down, polished & rewired with hand platted cords in our workshop near Oxford , England. The phones have all original fittings inside and we try to keep all the original parts wherever possible. They come fitted with a standard British connection & all International customers ( USA, Europe, Asia Etc) will be provided with a RJ11 adapter, so the customer can use the phone on any fixed analogue telephone line.
